Seventh Grade

Some details for Seventh Grade training (all are subject to change as the SDE continues to develop the training for this summer). 

Please click on the Science Registration link on the right side to register for summer training.  You will either register for Regular Summer Institute or Compressed or Crossover Training.  All registrations will receive a follow-up response from AMSTI-UNA to let you know which training dates to confirm you will attend this summer.   

AMSTI Unit Titles for Seventh Grade 

Year 1:  Studying the Development and Reproduction of Organisms (semester long kit)
  • STC Secondary Module:  Studying the Development and Reproduction of Organisms 
  • GLOBE:  Biometry
  • HAIB:   Modeling Mendel's Laws
  • HAIB:  Chromoscoks Meiosis
  • HAIB:  Genetics and Biotechnology
Year 2:  Investigating Biodiversity and Interdependence Unit

Year 2:  Exploring Body Systems
  • STC Secondary Module:  Investigating Digestions and Motion 
  • STC Secondary Module:  Exploring Respiration and Circulation
Types of AMSTI Science Training for this Summer at Seventh Grade
  1. Regular AMSTI Summer Training:  This training is for teachers who have never been trained on AMSTI Science Kits.
  2. Compressed AMSTI Summer Training:  This is for teachers who have never trained on the Hudson Alpha Kits.
