Eighth Grade

Some details for Eighth Grade training (all are subject to change as the SDE continues to develop the training for this summer). 

Please click on the Science Registration link on the right side to register for summer training.  You will either register for Regular Summer Institute or Compressed or Crossover Training.  All registrations will receive a follow-up response from AMSTI-UNA to let you know which training dates to confirm you will attend this summer.   

AMSTI Unit Titles for Eighth Grade 

Year 1:  Experimenting With Forces and Motion

Types of AMSTI Science Training for this Summer at Eighth Grade

1. Regular AMSTI Summer Training:  This training is for teachers who have never been trained on AMSTI Science Kits.
2. Compressed AMSTI Summer Training:  This is for teachers fully trained in Eighth Grade kits but who need to be trained on the new Electricity, Waves, and Information Transfer Kit.
